From Anita Needham, nee Jesson. At around the age of 17/18, around 1971, Win’s husband, Arthur, helped me with work place training, the knowledge of steel fabrication. For about a year, I worked in the drawing office, assisting with ordering steel, filing, and other office tasks. I was in trepidation about speaking on the telephone to suppliers, Arthur taught me telephone skills, he sent me home the first lunchtime with huge folders depicting all the steel shapes, sizes and technical descriptions. I learned to hand write following the skills of the draughtsmen, even copying Arthur’s signature! Win was a good friend to many of Hose village ladies, the wife of a businessman and the mother of two boys. She supported her husband in his new business venture in Hose, and supported her family in all ways she could when the business came to an end.
I also represent my mother, Audrey Jesson, (RIP), she valued Win’s friendliness greatly. Arthur and Win had their Christian faith, both had a sense of humour and fun. With best wishes to all the Hunt family.
